SoftPro Grip WHFO

(previously called Felix II)

(Patient #1)

This gentleman's right hand was very contracted and painful to open.

In this example, the smaller of the two cylinders that come with the splint was added.

Approximately an inch of the cylinder's foam underneath was cut away, eliminating any potential strain at the web space.

Additionally, the MP strap was completely removed from the splint, making application a little easier for the caregiver.

The primary goal, in this case, was to build tolerance up to 8 hours. The secondary goal was to graduate to the largest cylinder. After 2 weeks, the first goal was achieved.
